TradeGecko founding supporter for the new Xero users magazine

The Xero Users (XU) Magazine is created for Xero users by Xero users, and delivered worldwide in print to readers’ offices or homes. Xero is an accounting system hosted in the Cloud for small businesses and advisors, and the ever-growing Xero community consists of 250,000 (and counting)  business owners, accountants and bookkeepers, advisors and even developers working within the Xero add-on ecosystem.

The initiative to create a magazine by Xero users for Xero users, led by co-founders David Hassall (CEO) and Wesley Cornell (Editor), was launched on the Indiegogo crowd funding platform on 24 March 2014 to gather support from the community.

TradeGecko, of course, has jumped into the thick of the action and pledged our help and support as a founding supporter.

“We are proud to be supporting this wonderful initiative by Xero users and we look forward to continue being an active part of the Xero community," says Nadia Rozental, Head Of Partnerships at TradeGecko.

XU Magazine functions as a platform to share experiences and knowledge for anyone who has a Xero login. It aims to equip the Xero community and save users hours of time searching for solutions in the large wealth of resources out there on the software.

The magazine will initially have 52 full color A4 pages and will be perfect bound, containing useful review, interviews, tutorial, and short news on Xero. The informative and topical articles will also explore Xero add-ons like CRM systems, and inventory management systems such as TradeGecko.

The team behind XU Magazine plans to produce an interactive iPad edition, double the page count of the magazine, and increase publication in the long run.

“This combined effort going into XU Magazine clearly demonstrates the passion towards the Xero accounting system and the sense of community shared amongst us fellow Xero users,” says David Hassall, CEO of XU Magazine.

The XU Magazine team currently has a lot of planning and ideas in place but needs the support of the Xero user community to make this a reality. The campaign ends on April 14th so fans of Xero out there still have 6 days left to pledge their support to XU Magazine.
