What does this mean to the API?
There are no changes to the public API at this time, https://api.tradegecko.com will continue to be supported until 10 July, 2022. New and existing partner API applications can continue for internal distribution. However, the app store partner program is closed to new applications.
Any future changes to the public API will be made available on the Intuit Developer site.What does this mean for existing mutual customers?
Existing customers who are using the QuickBooks Commerce standalone product (formerly TradeGecko) have been notified about the sunset plans. Customers can choose to exit or remain on the platform until July 10, 2022. The platform will remain as is with no further feature enhancements, and customers will continue to receive product support in the form of maintenance.Can my customer/mutual customers continue using QuickBooks Commerce after July 10, 2022?
Existing customers who are using the QuickBooks Commerce standalone product (formerly TradeGecko), including the ones referred by partners, have been notified about the sunset plans. Customers can choose to exit or remain on the platform until July 10, 2022.
For eligible customers residing in the US, QuickBooks Commerce is currently available as part of a bundle with QuickBooks Online, giving you a single platform on which to manage your entire business. Your inventory, sales data, customer information, and expenses will automatically be recorded in your QuickBooks Online account to save you time and give you confidence that your finances are accurate.What about new customers with partner integration?
On June 9, 2021, QuickBooks stopped accepting any new clients for the QuickBooks Commerce standalone product (formerly TradeGecko). We will continue to support the product in the form of maintenance.
