Jenn Low, founder at Wanderlust + Co

Entrepreneur and #ladyboss Jenn Low started Wanderlust + Co in the bedroom of her Melbourne apartment with less than US $2,500 and a makeshift lightbox made of cardboard to photograph her jewellery. Today, her designs have been seen on celebrities such as Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner and are stocked in more than 400 stores globally.

On her vision for the future of Wanderlust + Co, Jenn says, “All of this to continue moving forward to grow our reach, and be true to our vision of being the first Southeast Asian high-street jewellery lifestyle brand to go global.”

Wanderlust + Co is a jewelry label for dreamers and lovers. To them, the word Wanderlust stands for the desire to continuously seek and to have a growth mindset. That ethos is reflected in their uniquely hand-crafted jewels, which serve as a positive daily reminder for the wearer.

Ade Hassan, founder at Nubian Skin

It’s time for “a different kind of nude.” For many women of color, finding suitable skin-tone hosiery and lingerie was simply not an option. Frustrated by the lack of skin-tone choices to go with her ever-expanding wardrobe, Nubian Skin founder, Ade Hassan, founded Nubian Skin.

Nubian Skin launched with a carefully edited collection of lingerie and hosiery to provide essential underwear needs of women of color. Headquartered in London, Nubian Skin delivers worldwide and looks forward to growing the company’s offering and expanding its reach globally.

On her drive to start and grow her business Hassan said, “It was as if a switch had flipped, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was pretty much non-stop from there, waking up very early and going to bed very late because I was still working full-time, but driven by adrenaline. I slept with a notebook beside my bed because I'd have ideas come to me in the middle of the night, and I had to write them down. It possessed me.”

Kirsten, founder at Kjaer Weis

Celebrating the opposites in life is something Kjaer Weis does best."Scandinavia has a calmness, a minimalism. New York City is fierce.” Says founder Kirsten Kjaer Weis, “They seem like they are so different but they can work together. Kjaer Weis is both. A trailblazer, merging these two worlds of luxury and sustainability without compromise. We are making the new norm."

As a makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weis has worked around the world for some of the most renowned fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire. In her work, she found that people were sacrificing the health of their skin by using irritating, synthetic makeup. Natural products, however, were not up to par in performance and the luxury of the beauty experience was lost.

Having grown up in a natural environment, Kirsten used her experience and knowledge of beauty to pursue uncharted territory in the industry, creating Kjaer Weis - a pioneer in organic, luxury beauty.
